Mariposa Reserva Red
Mariposa wines are made naturally, preserving as much as possible the natural aromas of the grape varieties and the natural acidity of the grapes from this region. They are intended to be light and fresh, to be consumed young but, being from Dão, they will have a good evolution in the bottle. These are modern wines that demonstrate well the character of the region.
Sustainable agriculture
All our vineyards are in an integrated protection system, that is, reducing or minimizing risks to human health and
the environment, favoring the development of healthy crops with the least possible disturbance to agricultural
and agroforestry ecosystems and encouraging natural mechanisms to combat crop enemies.
Native Grape Varieties
We make wines with the grape varieties that have always existed in the Dão region, and for this reason they are
perfectly adapted to the soil and climate.
Minimalist Winemaking
Our wines are made to respect the natural characteristics of the grapes, intervening as little as possible to obtain
a quality wine. This is how we make wines that are true to their origins and terroir.
